Week 16: Kenai Fjords

Sun replaced the rain in Seward as we boarded a small boat bound for Kenai Fjords Glacier Lodge. What began as a calm departure through Resurrection Bay quickly unfolded into sea otters, bubble-net feeding humpbacks, sea lions, puffins, and towering cliffs. By the time we reached the gravel shoreline of Aialik Bay, we had already witnessed more than we expected — and the hidden lodge waiting in the trees felt like a quiet continuation of the wild.
